SimpleID is a simple, personal OpenID provider written in PHP.

LaTeX

Some possibly useful packages for LaTeX. Please note that they are “abandonware”: I do not plan to support or maintain them in the forseeable future.

• actuarial.sty provides for symbols and other notation for actuarial, financial and statistical uses.
• fce-thesis.cls is a document class file which provides a basis for typesetting theses in accordance with style guidelines set by the former Faculty of Commerce and Economics (now the Australian School of Business) at the University of New South Wales.

To install these packages:

1. Unzip the file into a temporary directory.
2. Run TeX on the ins file, e.g. latex actuarial.ins. This will run the docstrip utility to generate an appropriate files for copying into the TeX directory.
3. Copy the generated style or class file into an appropriate directory.
4. Depending on your TeX distribution, you may need to update the TeX file cache, e.g. by running mktexlsr.

To generate documentation:

1. Unzip the file into a temporary directory.
2. Run TeX on the dtx file, e.g. latex actuarial.dtx. This will generate a DVI file with the relevant documentation.
